JOB SUMMARY:
The Residential Cleaning Manager leads the home services division and is responsible for the day-to-day performance of the residential cleaning team. This role oversees staff scheduling, training, and time approval while ensuring high service standards and strong client relationships. The manager supports operations by addressing client needs, resolving issues, and stepping in to assist with cleaning when necessary.

MANAGER RESPONSIBILITIES IN ADDITION TO YOUR CURRENT MANAGERIAL ROLES:
This role provides daily leadership and direction to supervisors and cleaning teams, coordinating work assignments, schedules, and operational priorities across the residential division.
Responsibilities:
• Lead training and development for supervisors and cleaning staff through hands-on instruction, field coaching, and ongoing skill development to ensure consistent quality, efficiency, and adherence to Schuman Cleaning Systems.
• Oversee quality control by inspecting work, addressing deficiencies promptly, and ensuring all services meet company standards and client expectations.
• Manage staffing and scheduling to ensure all jobs are properly staffed, shifts are covered, and service commitments are met; step in to support crews when operationally necessary.
• Provide leadership, direction, and performance support to supervisors and team members, fostering accountability, professional growth, and a positive work environment.
• Respond promptly to client concerns and operational issues, implementing timely solutions to maintain service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Oversee supplies, equipment, and company vehicles to ensure readiness, safety, and cost control.
• Ensure accurate timekeeping, documentation, and compliance with company policies.
• Support the Division Manager in daily operations, communication, and overall performance of the residential division.
• Monitor operational expenses and resource usage to support division budget goals.
FIRST 90 DAYS — PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES
1. Obtain certifications in Bloodborne Pathogen, CPR/AED + First Aid, ASHES Infectious Disease and Patient Room Turnover, and Urine Drug Screen Administration. Begin OSHA 10 and Certified Disinfecting Specialist training.
2. Ensure 100% compliance with employee timekeeping procedures by monitoring clock-ins/outs, correcting errors, and reinforcing expectations with supervisors and crews.
3. Evaluate residential cleaning teams in the field and implement a standardized cleaning approach to ensure consistent service quality across all crews.
4. Meet with all assigned crews, assess team strengths and development needs, and establish a coaching plan to improve performance and consistency.
5. Improve service consistency across residential teams through standardized procedures, field coaching, and quality oversight.
