Residential Housekeeping Supervisor

Flexible Scheduling | Year-Round or Seasonal | No Nights or Weekends
Location: Midcoast Maine – Boothbay Region (job sites vary by location)
Schedule: Primarily Monday–Friday, 8:00am–4:30pm
Position Type(s): Full-Time (30+ hrs/week with benefits)

Knickerbocker Group is seeking a proactive and dependable Housekeeping Supervisor to support and lead our residential property care team. As a Housekeeping Supervisor, you’ll guide our housekeeping staff in maintaining beautiful residential homes—ensuring every property meets our exceptional standards. Unlike hospitality or short-term rental cleaning, these homes are consistently well-kept.

What You’ll Do:

• Supervise and support a team of residential housekeepers in the field


• Ensure homes are cleaned and maintained to Knickerbocker Group’s standards


• Create daily and weekly schedules, adjusting as needed


• Provide on-site training, coaching, and performance feedback


• Monitor supply inventory and assist with procurement


• Perform housekeeping tasks


• Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams


• Report maintenance issues, damages, or safety concerns


• Ensure safety policies and procedures are followed consistently

• Have prior experience in residential or hospitality housekeeping


• Bring leadership experience or natural supervisory skills


• Are detail-oriented, organized, and proactive


• Can motivate, guide, and support a team


• Communicate clearly, respectfully, and professionally


• Have a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation


• Are comfortable using a smartphone/tablet for scheduling and communication


• Are willing to undergo a background check
