Residential Interior Designer

If you’re the type of designer who’s equal parts creative thinker and detail master, this might be your dream role! AHD&Co is seeking a full-time Interior Designer to join their growing team in downtown Westfield, NJ. You’ll collaborate on stylish, functional spaces, lead client presentations, and bring bold ideas to life—with a crew that loves what they do and doesn’t take themselves too seriously (except when it comes to great design). If you’ve got at least three years of experience at a design firm, strong computer drafting and 3D rendering skills, and a knack for keeping projects on point, we’d love to meet you.

Hours: Full-time, Onsite

Pay range: $63-68K, plus bonus potential

Benefits: 2 weeks of paid time off - accrued during your first year, 11 paid holidays plus one floating holiday of your choice, summer Fridays - enjoy every other Friday off (with adjusted hours during the week), $3,600 annual healthcare stipend, $30 monthly cell phone stipend

What You’ll Do

• Bring amazing concepts to life
• Lead client presentations and handle post-meeting tasks like a pro
• Source the coolest furnishings, create budgets, and draft proposals
• Keep project budgets and schedules on track while keeping the Senior Designer in the loop
• Whip up CAD/Revit elevations, sketches, sections, details, and furniture plans
• Style homes for photoshoots like a design superstar

Qualifications/Requirements

• Minimum 3 years of experience in an Interior Design firm
• Stellar people skills and communication prowess
• Eagle-eyed attention to detail and organization
• A design obsession that’s borderline fanatical
• Proactive problem-solving abilities
• A get-it-done attitude with a strong work ethic and a sense of humor
• Revit proficiency required, as well as AutoCAD and SketchUp experience (Photoshop, and/or Canva is a plus)
• Ability and willingness to learn our project software: Asana, HouzzPro/Ivy, and Google Docs
• Work onsite full-time in our office in downtown Westfield, NJ
