Residential Irrigation Technician - Installation & Maintenance

We are seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to install, service, and maintain irrigation systems for residential landscape projects in Walpole, MA. This hands-on role focuses on ensuring efficient system operation, promoting healthy landscapes, and providing high-quality service to homeowners.

The ideal candidate has experience with residential irrigation systems, a strong mechanical aptitude, and enjoys working outdoors. You will be responsible for both routine maintenance and troubleshooting, helping keep lawns and gardens healthy and thriving while supporting a collaborative team environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, repair, and maintain residential irrigation systems, including controllers, valves, and sprinkler heads
• Perform seasonal start-ups, shut-downs, and routine system inspections
• Diagnose and resolve system issues, including leaks, misaligned heads, and controller malfunctions
• Adjust systems for optimal water efficiency and landscape health
• Maintain accurate service records and follow company safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with team members and homeowners regarding system operation and maintenance

• Experience with irrigation system installation and maintenance preferred
• Knowledge of irrigation components, controls, and troubleshooting techniques
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and commitment to customer service
• Team-oriented and reliable

• Hourly pay: $22 – $32, depending on experience
