Residential Journeyman Electrician

We’re looking for a highly skilled and dependable Journeyman Electrician to join our growing residential service team. This role is ideal for a professional who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship, solving complex electrical problems, and ensuring safe, code-compliant installations. Responsibilities:

• Install, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain electrical systems and components in residential homes, including wiring, outlets, lighting, circuit breakers, panels, and more.
• Interpret and work from blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to execute accurate electrical layouts.
• Diagnose electrical issues quickly and provide effective repair or replacement solutions.
• Perform scheduled maintenance and proactive service to prevent electrical failures.
• Explain electrical issues and solutions to customers clearly, and make professional recommendations based on their needs.
• Educate and assist customers with financing options and maintenance plans.
• Adhere strictly to job site safety protocols and proper use of PPE.
• Ensure all work complies with current local, state, and national electrical codes.
• Accurately document work performed, materials used, and time logged for each project through ServiceTitan. 
• Coordinate with other trades, such as plumbing and HVAC, to ensure seamless project completion.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Journeyman Electrician license issued by the TDLR.
• Minimum three (3)+ years of hands-on residential electrical service experience.
• Deep knowledge of residential electrical systems, tools, and best practices.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation.
• Excellent communication skills and a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in tight or elevated spaces as needed. 
• Must have a valid Driver’s License.
