Job Description:

We are seeking a Residential Painter Apprentice to assist with residential painting projects while learning proper preparation, application, and finishing techniques. No prior professional painting experience is required — we are willing to train the right candidate with a strong work ethic and desire to learn a skilled trade.

Responsibilities:

Assist in preparing surfaces (sanding, scraping, patching, caulking)

Mask and protect surfaces not being painted

Help apply paint, primer, stain, and other coatings under supervision

Set up and clean up job sites daily

Transport tools and materials to and from sites

Follow directions from lead painters and supervisors

Maintain a clean, safe work environment

Follow all safety procedures and company standards

Qualifications:

Strong work ethic and willingness to learn

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs

Comfortable working on ladders and outdoors in varying conditions

Reliable transportation to and from job sites

Good communication skills

Punctual, professional, and a team player
