Job Description - Residential Pipefitter

The Heating Specialist is looking for a skilled Residential Pipefitter who’s experienced in fabricating and installing a wide range of pipe types and sizes. You’ll work on a variety of residential and light commercial heating systems using materials like PEX, copper, and roll-grooved iron pipe. This role is full-time, with opportunities for overtime, and comes with a company vehicle and a comprehensive benefits package.

Responsibilities:

Fabricate and install piping systems for residential and light commercial heating applications.
Work with roll-grooved iron pipe, PEX, and copper piping, including measuring, cutting, threading, grooving, and assembling pipe systems to specification.
Ensure all connections are properly aligned, sealed, and supported under building codes and manufacturer guidelines.
Apply and install Victaulic fittings, including prepping pipe ends, verifying gasket placement, torquing couplings to spec, and pressure testing for leaks.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and job layouts.
Ensure high standards of quality, safety, and code compliance.
Collaborate with project managers and other trades on-site.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
Represent the company with professionalism and pride in your craftsmanship.

Qualifications:

Must have three (3) years of residential pipefitting experience.
Skilled in roll groove iron, PEX, and copper pipe installation.
Must be proficient in handling a variety of Victaulic systems used in residential heating and hydronic applications.
Strong understanding of tools, materials, and safety practices.
Ability to read and interpret piping diagrams and installation plans.
Reliable, detail-oriented, and committed to doing things right.
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
Able to work Monday–Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, with overtime as needed

Compensation: $42-$60 per hour DOE
