Job Description - Residential Sales

Sales Rockstars Wanted! One Hail of an Opportunity!

Paid Training: $800/per week for 8 weeks

Emerson is seeking driven, hardworking, and fun-loving individuals to join our rapidly growing sales team.

This Outside Sales role is responsible for effective prospecting of new residential and/or commercial Roofing, Siding, and Gutter services through incoming leads, door to door canvassing, as well as top notch communication with customers.

ADT, Alarm Sales, Cutco, Kirby, Car Sales, Solar Sales, In Home Sales, Phone Sales, Roofing Sales, Siding Sales, Window Sales, Exterior Remodeling, Interior Remodeling.

Responsibilities and Duties:

  • Prospecting residential leads for property inspections.
  • Handling referrals in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide free property damage inspections & assessments.
  • Maintaining acceptable levels of prospecting field activity, referral generation, and closed Roofing, Siding, and Gutter contracts.
  • Maintaining proper representation of the Emerson brand.
  • Execute the trained processes to the best of your ability.
  • Proactively communicate with property owners throughout the process.
  • Aim for complete customer satisfaction on each project and leverage satisfaction for referral business.

Job Type: Full-Time

  • $75K - $85K First year potential.
  • $100K Second year potential.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • No knowledge of construction is required.
  • Must be willing to work 40-50 hours per week.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Drive and determination for exceeding expectations.
  • Familiarity with CRM software is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
  • Ability to effectively prospect/cold call residential leads when needed.
  • Goal oriented with understanding of sales KPI's a plus.
  • Previous experience with outside sales, inside sales, account manager, account executive, business development positions are a plus.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Construction/contracting background preferred but not required.
  • Canvassing sales experience is a plus.
  • Prior storm restoration industry experience a major plus.

Physical Demands:
While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is often required to walk, climb ladders, walk roofs, talk, and use an iPad assigned to employee from Emerson. Office work including sitting and typing required.
