Residential Service Plumber

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Residential Service Plumber to join our team in Longmont. This role combines hands-on plumbing expertise with a strong focus on communication and making recommendations.  The ideal candidate will be responsible for preventative maintenance, safety inspections, and repairing plumbing systems in residential settings, while delivering exceptional customer service and identifying opportunities to enhance system performance and efficiency. Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Service residential plumbing systems by plumbing code and safety standards.

  
  


• 
  

  Diagnose and repair plumbing and boiler issues, including mechanical and electrical issues.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform routine maintenance to ensure system performance and efficiency.

  
  


• 
  

  Recommend system upgrades or replacements based on evaluations.

  
  


• 
  

  Communicate clearly with customers and provide professional advice.

  
  


• 
  

  Identify and promote additional products or services.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure compliance with state/local codes and safety regulations.

  
  


• 
  

  Maintain accurate records and manage tools and inventory.

  
  


• 
  

  Stay current on industry trends and technology.

  
  

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Service Plumber, or  boiler technician, or similar role. 


• Valid HVAC, Boiler, or related certifications preferred. 


• Strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of residential boiler systems, including gas, electric, and oil systems.


• Excellent communication and customer service skills.


• Ability to lift heavy equipment and tools, work in confined spaces, and perform manual labor as required.


• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.


• Knowledge of safety practices, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and the ability to work safely in high-pressure environments.
