Due to growth and opening a new program, BrightPath Human Services is on a search for a new Residential Team Leader for a program in Black Lick, PA.

Position Summary
The Residential ServicesTeam Leader plays a key leadership role in ensuring high-quality supports and smooth day-to-day operations within residential programs. This position serves as a supervisor/mentor to Direct Support Professionals (DSPs), providing guidance, training, and oversight to ensure that each individual supported receives compassionate, person-centered care consistent with BrightPath’s mission.
Key Responsibilities
Provide direct care and support to individuals in residential programs, promoting independence and community inclusion. This position is a full-time position. Each Team Leader is assigned 32 hours of Direct Care and 8 hours of administrative time a week.
Serve as a role model/mentor/supervisor for DSP staff, assisting with training, onboarding, and daily guidance.
Complete weekly programmatic schedules.
Monitor documentation for accuracy and compliance, including daily notes, incident reports, and medication records.
Communicate effectively with team members, Program Manager, and clinical staff regarding individual needs and progress.
Assist with implementation of ISPs (Individual Support Plans) and behavior support strategies.
Ensure adherence to all BrightPath policies, ODP 6400 regulations, and health/safety standards.
Participate in on-call rotations or emergency coverage as assigned.
Support a positive, team-oriented culture within the home and organization.
Qualifications
Minimum High School Diploma or GED required.
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Direct Support Professional or equivalent role in human services.
Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to guide and support a team.
Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation required.
Ability to complete and maintain all ODP-required trainings and clearances.
Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
Ability and willingness to obtain FLS certification through the NADSP within 6 months of employment (Company Paid).
