Job Description - Residential Sheet Metal Installer

We’re seeking a Skilled Residential Sheet Metal Installer to fabricate and install ductwork in homes and light‑commercial projects. This key role combines precision shop fabrication with on-site installation, requiring someone who takes pride in their craft, pays attention to detail, and is passionate about delivering comfort through high-quality workmanship.

Responsibilities:

Fabricate ductwork and sheet metal components using shears, brakes, welding, and hand tools.
Read, interpret, and occasionally produce shop and field drawings (CAD familiarity a plus).
Measure, install, and seal duct systems per residential design specifications and codes.
Collaborate with HVAC techs, foremen, and homeowners—maintaining clean, safe job sites.
Ensure installations meet quality standards and perform pressure/leak tests.
Assist with continuous improvement: optimizing material usage, reducing scrap, refining layouts.

Requirements:

Three (3) years of hands-on sheet metal experience, specifically in residential ductwork fabrication and installation.
Strong foundation in math, blueprint reading, and framing/layout
Proficiency with power tools: shears, press brakes, welding gear, sheet metal hand tools.
Commitment to pride in craft and craftsmanship, you take satisfaction in precise seams, tight connections, and clean finishes
Excellent communication skills, punctuality, and reliability
Valid driver’s license and clean record

Compensation: $42-$60 per hour DOE

Our benefits package includes:

40 hours of PTO after 90 Days + 48 hours after one year of employment
