POSITION SUMMARY We're searching for a licensed and experienced Journeyman Electrician to work on residential solar jobs throughout the Greater Seattle area. The candidate must be able to successfully install and maintain solar PV and storage systems with the highest quality components and use cutting-edge technology. The ideal candidate is team oriented, detailed, dependable, hardworking, and always willing to learn more.

ROLE RESPONSIBILITIES
Safety: We believe safety is a collaborative effort. We expect each individual to adhere to all company and L&I safety programs while also making sure other members of the team do the same.
Professionalism: Represent A&R Solar Culture and Values in the field with customers and team members.
Collaboration: Work closely with install crew, project managers, and designers throughout the installation.
Install Proficiency: Lead code-compliant installs with emphasis on long-term reliability and craftmanship. Communicate changes or delays with your project manager.
Efficiency: Complete residential projects accurately and on time.
Project Documentation: Complete all project documentation in a timely manner and provide customers with a thorough walkthrough of their system.
Responsibility for Company Property: Maintain company provided tools, vehicles, and materials needed for job responsibilities.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
3+ years minimum electrical residential and/or commercial experience
Team player who enjoys working with others
Excellent communication skills
Eye for aesthetics and quality work
Ability to provide input and ideas in a confident manner
Excellent time management, collaboration, and troubleshooting skills
Comfortable with overnight travel
Ability to identify and mitigate safety hazards
Ability to work in extreme environments, e.g. hot sun, crawl spaces, wind and rain, etc.
Ability to lift 50 lbs and work on ladders and roofs throughout work day
LICENSE REQUIREMENTS
Valid 01 or 02 WA Electrical license
Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
Rooftop solar install experience
Panel and Service upgrade experience
Franklin, Enphase, and Tesla battery experience
Experience with SPAN and other similar smart panels
NABCEP PVIP Certification
OSHA 30
First Aid/CPR
Forklift Certification

4-10s: Workdays are 10-hour days, Monday - Thursday. Every week is a three day weekend. OT routinely available but not required.
