Position: Residential Therapist

Location: Crownsville, Maryland

Schedule: Full Time | Thursday to Sunday or Sunday to Wednesday, 8-6pm or 10-8pm | 4-Day work week!

Compensation: $78,000-$93,500 Annual Salary offered for provisionally and fully licensed Therapists! 

Sandstone Care is enthusiastically seeking a Full-Time Residential Therapist for our Teen Residential Treatment Center in Crownsville, Maryland! Join our dedicated team and make a direct impact on the lives of adolescents facing addiction, trauma, and mental health disorders. Our personalized programming is designed to meet each individual where they are and provide comprehensive care. In addition to individual therapy, we offer group therapy, family therapy, experiential/social activities, and life skills/academic development to foster growth and healing.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee a small case load of clients, providing individual therapy and contributing to group therapy sessions.


• Actively participate in and support experiential activities such as hiking, yoga, gardening, and more.


• Collaborate with the medical and clinical teams to ensure a comprehensive treatment strategy for all clients.

Training & Experience:

• Provisional or Clinical Licensure is required (LGPC, LCPC, LMSW, LCSW-C, LGMFT, LCMFT)


• Previous experience with substance abuse treatment is required; experience with detox or residential settings preferred.


• Clinical Skills & Abilities: Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Strong Documentation Skills
