What You'll Do:

As a Residential Training Specialist, you’ll be at the heart of our mission—ensuring our residential staff is fully equipped, confident, and prepared to provide the highest level of care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities.

Your role will include:

• Delivering individualized in-home and on-the-job training to residential staff
• Coaching and mentoring new hires with positivity and approachability
• Collaborating on the creation and continuous improvement of training materials
• Providing retraining support when needed to maintain service excellence
• Keeping accurate and timely documentation of all training activities
• Promoting a culture of empowerment, respect, and professionalism
• Lifting and transferring individuals (up to 75 lbs independently)
• Supporting team communication, development, and accountability

• High school diploma or equivalent (required)
• At  least 1 year of experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities (preferred)
• Strong communication, writing, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a dynamic team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and basic computer skills
• Commitment to confidentiality and professionalism
• Leadership, flexibility, and a problem-solving mindset
• Must maintain valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and proof of auto insurance

 Required Certifications (or willingness to obtain):

• Medication Administration: Core A and Core B
• CPR/First Aid Certification
