We’re looking for compassionate, dedicated individuals to support at-risk youth in a therapeutic residential setting. As a Residential Youth Counselor, you’ll mentor and guide adolescents, helping them build life skills, confidence, and resilience.

About MPA:

Founded in 2003, Mount Prospect Academy provides innovative mental health and educational services to adolescents across New England. Our mission is to create a safe, caring environment where students can grow, learn, and thrive.

What You’ll Do:

• Supervise and mentor youth, modeling positive behavior


• Support daily living activities (meals, hygiene, recreation)


• Implement therapeutic programming and crisis intervention


• Foster social, emotional, and coping skills


• Maintain accurate documentation and reports


• Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe, structured environment

Qualifications:

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree OR 60 college credits OR 2 years of experience working with youth OR 7 years of parenting experience


• Valid driver’s license preferred; must be 21+


• Authorized to work in the U.S.


• Background check required

Shifts Available:

• Front Half: Sun 8a–10:30p; Mon–Wed 2p–10:30p


• Back Half: Wed–Fri 2p–10:30p; Sat 8a–10:30p
