Luxury Resort Shift Engineer Job Description:

• Performs minor painting, carpentry and masonry work to provide operable and efficient facilities for Department personnel.


• Performs minor plumbing maintenance to provide operable and efficient plumbing capabilities to Department personnel.


• Performs minor electrical maintenance to include but not be limited to replacement or repair of fixtures using appropriate hand, power and specialty tools.


• Assists skilled maintenance workers with projects for the purpose of completing projects in a safe, efficient manner.


• Participates in meetings, workshops, training's, and seminars for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform functions.


• Repairs furniture and building system components for the purpose of ensuring a safe working condition.


• Assists in performing scheduled and "as needed" inspection and preventive maintenance on tools and equipment to maintain operability of the tools and equipment.


• Responds to emergency situations during and after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.


• Maintain the physical functionality and safety of the facility including, but not limited to, guest rooms, public space and front & back of the house areas.


• Respond to guest calls and team member work orders in a timely, friendly and efficient manner to assess and repair non-functioning machinery and/or equipment.


• Perform other reasonable job duties as requested by Supervisors

Luxury Resort Shift Engineer Job Requirements:

• Technical, Trade, or Vocational School Degree


• Experience on all related maintenance work


• Luxury hotel experience preferred


• Maintenance: 1 year, required


• Knowledge and ability to comply with all safety and security policies and procedures


• Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 50 pounds without assistance.

Schedule for the Shift Engineer, Luxury Resort:

• 8 hour shift


• Day shift


• Holidays


• Monday to Friday


• Night shift


• Weekend availability
