To strengthen our growth and delivery excellence, we are creating a Resource Management (RM) function that will ensure optimal placement, utilization, and development of our workforce across the Group.

The Resource Manager is responsible for aligning business demand, workforce capacity, and skill availability – ensuring the right associates are in the right roles at the right time.
This role bridges Delivery, Commercial, Finance and People & Culture, and supports Senior Management in shaping D-ploy’s workforce strategy.

You will proactively manage resource allocation, anticipate future needs, and implement staffing strategies that balance cost efficiency, capability, and employee growth.

Key Responsibilities

1. Workforce Planning & Optimization

  • Cooperate with Senior Management to shape D-ploy’s workforce strategy and optimize workforce mix across entities.
  • Anticipate skill and capacity needs in alignment with commercial forecasts and long-term delivery plans.
  • Support “advanced staffing” initiatives; planning staff transitions to protect and improve margins.
  • Maintain a structured overview of roles, levels, salary ranges, and development paths.

2. Forecasting & Planning

  • Forecast resource availability, turnover, and demand in collaboration with Delivery, HR, and Commercial teams.
  • Plan resource capacity to ensure sufficient coverage for upcoming projects and minimal idle time.
  • Identify optimization opportunities for associate placement and support implementation with Service Delivery Managers.
  • Initiate recruitment or redeployment actions based on capacity gaps and forecasted needs.

3. Allocation

  • Negotiate and coordinate associate assignment to services and projects according to skillset, experience, and availability.
  • Act as the go-to person for ad-hoc resource challenges.
  • Maintain real-time visibility of available resources, ending mandates, and open positions.
  • Report on utilization, workforce mix, and resource trends to management.
  • Analytical and solution-oriented mindset; ability to balance cost, capability, and people development.
  • High organizational ability, able to manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment.
  • Solid understanding of employment and labour law basics.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills – able to collaborate effectively with technicians, service managers, senior leadership, and HR.
  • Holistic thinking – able to foresee how staffing changes impact the wider organization.
  • Prior experience in project management, resource management, or staffing coordination within IT or a similar industry (advantageous but not mandatory).
  • Fluent in English (German is a plus).
  • Valid criminal record extract (not older than 3 months) required.
