Location: Claremont, NH

Shift Type: Nights (12-hour shifts, 36 hours guaranteed weekly)

Hourly Range: $31.00 - $43.00 (based on experience)

Salary Range: $64,480 - $89,440 (based on a 40-hour workweek)

Position Summary:

The Resource RN provides professional nursing care in the assigned department and collaborates with other disciplines for comprehensive care planning. This role requires delivering patient-centered care, assessing and prioritizing needs, and effectively responding to changes in patient conditions.

Essential Functions:

• Perform comprehensive assessments and reassessments for all patient demographics.
• Manage pain effectively and educate patients and families on pain management techniques.
• Develop and evaluate individualized care plans daily for effectiveness.
• Administer medications accurately, adhering to safety protocols and the six medication rights.
• Assist physicians with procedures and perform treatments aligned with licensure level.
• Monitor cardiac and hemodynamic status, interpret results, and respond per ACLS protocol.
• Provide care for patients with complex fluid, electrolyte, and nutritional needs.
• Communicate clearly with team members and physicians, consulting interdisciplinary departments as needed.
• Support a flexible, organized approach in a small rural unit, functioning independently and efficiently.

Qualifications:

• Ability to work independently in a rural healthcare setting.
• Strong knowledge of nursing standards, medication administration, and cardiac monitoring.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, small-unit environment.
