RESPIRATORY EQUIPMENT/EKG TECH

Minimum Level of Education Required: High School completion / GEDHigh School Diploma/GED Ability to analyze and prioritize in an efficient and effective manner. Must be detail oriented. Must possess and display effective verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills. Must have extensive knowledge of the various cardio diagnostic procedures so he/she can thoroughly explain the test to the patient. Major emphasis is placed upon diagnostic quality of the EKG recording and upon courteous, sympathetic treatment of patients. Basic knowledge about EKG patterns from normal to abnormal preferred.
