Shift: Days, salaried

Relocation Bonus: Up to $10,000

• Manages daily operations and maintains department budgets.
• Manages the recruitment, retention, training, and competence of staff and analysts.
• Ensures the accuracy, timeliness, reliability, and level-of-detail of staff work product.
• Builds and maintains relationships across multiple disciplines to achieve common goals.
• Evaluates new equipment and procedures.
• Oversees campus operational budgets, equipment acquisition, and metric reviews.
• Executes clinical excellence for campus. Enforces regulatory compliance at the campus level.
• Directs and mentors staff, is responsible for hospital staffing models.
• Ensures metrics are communicated and met. Provides expertise in hospital operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Education:

• Associates [Required]
• Bachelor's [Preferred]
• Master's [Preferred]

Field of Study:

•  in Respiratory Therapy or Cardiopulmonary Science
• in Education, Business, Health Care Administration, or other healthcare-related field

Work Experience:

• 2+ years respiratory leadership experience [Required]
• 5+ years of respiratory clinical experience [Required]

Additional Information:

• Active member of AARC [Preferred]
• NBRC credentials must be maintained as a condition of continued role eligibility.
• All States: require NBRC for new hires, and incumbents
• Florida Exception: legacy incumbents may continue working and may transfer within Florida without a NBRC active credential, subject to an approved time-limited transition period.

Licenses and Certifications:

• State Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) [Required]
• Active NBRC Credentialed Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) [Preferred]
•  Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) [Preferred]
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support Cert (PALS) [Preferred]
• Neonatal Resuscitation (NRP) [Preferred]
