Job Title: Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) – Inpatient, Hospital

Shift: Nights (Rotating weekends)
Location: Gainesville, FL

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) to join our team. As a therapist, you will provide skilled services in an inpatient, hospital environment and in collaboration with other providers.

Job Summary:

Knowledge of patient responses, side effects and proper dosages of medications used in respiratory care. Able to communicate effectively with Physicians, patients, managers and the publics. Ability to teach/instruct, assess and reassess others. Able to recognize and report abuse and neglect in patients. Knowledge of generally accepted practices in respiratory care as prescribed by the physician. Delivers, set-up, and maintains routine and non-routine therapies and equipment (i.e., oxygen, aerosol therapy, ventilators) utilized by Respiratory Therapy. Ability to perform and interpret Arterial Blood Gases.

Compensation:

·       Pay rates: UP to $36.95/hr. (Based on years of experience)

·       Shift Differentials: $4.25/hr. for nights; $3/hr. for weekends 

·       Sign-On Bonus: $20,000 (Night shift)

·       Relocation Assistance: Case by Case

·        1 year minimum of RRT/CRT experience required (ICU, CVICU, NICU, PICU, Critical care unit. **Would consider those with home care and/or long-term care experience. Would Also consider CRT experience**

·        FL State Respiratory License

·        NBRC – RRT/CRT

·        Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS)

·        ACLS- Advanced Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

·        NRP - Neonate Resuscitate must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date

·        PALS - Pediatric Adv Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
