About the Job

Seasons is a comprehensive behavioral health center offering a broad range of psychiatric and behavioral health services to communities in the Northwest Iowa region. We’re currently seeking a full-time Respite Care Provider. The Respite Care Provider is responsible for planning, coordinating, and providing, therapeutic respite care in 1:1 or group settings. The purpose of respite care is to provide parents and guardians a break from caregiving, and provide children with a safe, therapeutic environment. Respite services are provided in office and/or community-based settings, and typically take place in the evenings, on weekends, and/or on days when school is not in session. A blend of daytime, evening, and some weekend hours are required. This position could be based in Spencer, Sheldon, or Sioux Center, IA. 

Salary Range

$17.00 - $19.25 per hour (Commensurate with experience)

Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in social work, human services, or a related field is required
• At least 1 year of experience working directly with individuals with behavioral health concerns is required
• At least 1 year of experience working with children is required
• Must be willing and able to submit health history record forms
• This position requires regular travel, so a valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required
• A current First Aid/CPR certification or willingness to obtain one is required
