Position Summary

The Assistant Manager helps lead daily operations, ensuring the highest levels of service, quality, and team morale. You’ll support the General Manager with training, scheduling, in-store promotions, upselling strategies, and operational efficiency, all while fostering a positive and engaging environment for guests and team members.

Key Responsibilities

·      Assist with daily operations including opening and closing procedures

·      Lead and motivate the team to deliver exceptional guest experiences

·      Train, coach, and hold team members accountable to sneakybird standards

·      Uphold food quality, speed, cleanliness, and safety expectations

·      Monitor and drive upselling tactics (drinks, cookies, rewards signups, etc.)

·      Support execution of local marketing efforts

·      Oversee shift scheduling and resolve staffing concerns in real-time

·      Handle minor customer concerns with professionalism and a solution-first mindset

·      Assist with inventory management

·      Step into General Manager responsibilities when needed

Qualifications

·      1+ year of experience in a supervisory or leadership role in food service

·      Energetic, hands-on leader who sets the pace on the floor

·      Strong communication and organizational skills

·      Commitment to cleanliness, speed, and service

·      Experience in fast casual or QSR environments preferred

·      Must be able to work nights and weekends as necessary

·      Serv Safe Manager Certification (if you do not have this we will pay for your first attempt to obtain your certification)
