A restaurant busser is an essential support staff member who keeps dining areas clean and organized, clearing dirty dishes, resetting tables for new guests, refilling water glasses, and restocking supplies, ensuring smooth operations and a good guest experience by helping servers and maintaining cleanliness. They are the backbone of table turnover, quickly making tables ready for the next party, and often assist with food delivery and general cleaning tasks like wiping spills or cleaning windows. 

Key Responsibilities

• Table Maintenance: Clearing used plates, silverware, and glassware from tables and taking them to the kitchen.
• Table Resetting: Setting tables with clean linens, silverware, and glasses for incoming guests.
• Guest Comfort: Refilling water glasses and other beverages, and alerting servers to guest needs.
• Supply Management: Restocking service stations with napkins, condiments, and other essential items.
• Cleanliness: Wiping down tables, chairs, and cleaning spills quickly to maintain hygiene.
• Staff Support: Helping servers by delivering food or assisting with other tasks as needed, especially during busy times.
