We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef that is fluent in Italian cuisine, for one of our new Clifton, New Jersey area location. We are one of the most unique restaurants in the area.
it's our Chef’s responsibility to make sure the kitchen is kept clean and sanitized, oversees the inventory and ordering as well as BOH labor while food cost are maintained. This Chef / Kitchen Manager will plan, organize, direct, coordinate and delegate responsibility to the staff to ensure the goals and objectives of the kitchen are met while delivering high quality, great tasting food to our guests

Candidates must have the following background:
• Must have 5 or more years in an Executive Chef position
• Must be accustomed to leading a scratch kitchen in a $5 Million+ operation
• Must be skilled in avenues of restaurant BOH cost controls
• Creativity in menu development is helpful
• Must have and be able to demonstrate planning and organizational skills
• Strong interpersonal and team building skills are essential
• No “sideline” coaches need respond…only those who know how to lead a restaurant kitchen team from a “quarterback position” need respond
