Restaurant Launch Specialist – DoorDash
Location: Detroit, MI or Baltimore, MD

Key Responsibilities

• 
  

  Travel regularly to restaurant/merchant locations to support onboarding and product launches.

  
  


• 
  

  Work directly with restaurant owners, managers, and staff throughout the implementation process.

  
  


• 
  

  Develop and execute merchant onboarding plans.

  
  


• 
  

  Perform hands-on, in-store implementation and configuration of DoorDash software and digital ordering solutions.

  
  


• 
  

  Train restaurant employees on new platforms, tools, and workflows.

  
  


• 
  

  Create and deliver training materials and resources to improve staff adoption.

  
  


• 
  

  Identify operational challenges and recommend improvements to restaurant workflows.

  
  


• 
  

  Help merchants maximize adoption, usage, and revenue opportunities.

  
  


• 
  

  Coordinate with Sales, Account Management, Operations, Product, and Analytics teams to resolve issues and complete launches.

  
  


• 
  

  Track onboarding activities, deliverables, and launch milestones.

  
  


• 
  

  Ensure tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule.

  
  


• 
  

  Adapt quickly to changing priorities and evolving products.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide a high-quality customer experience throughout the merchant lifecycle.

  
  


• 
  

  Travel within the assigned market and potentially across the country as business needs require.

  
  

Required Qualifications

• 
  

  Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience.

  
  


• 
  

  5+ years of experience in restaurant management, hospitality, customer support, field operations, merchant operations, or a related customer-facing environment.

  
  


• 
  

  Experience working directly with restaurant owners, managers, or frontline staff.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong customer service and relationship-management skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Comfortable working in restaurants and performing hands-on/in-person implementation activities.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.

  
  


• 
  

  Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with multiple internal teams.

  
  


• 
  

  Strong communication and training/presentation skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Self-directed, proactive, and comfortable working independently in the field.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability to learn and troubleshoot software platforms and digital tools.

  
  


• 
  

  Valid driver's license and reliable personal vehicle required.

  
  


• 
  

  Ability and willingness to travel regularly to merchant locations.

  
  


• 
  

  Spanish fluency is a plus.
