Restaurant Maintenance Technician

Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken – Muskegon, MI

We are looking for a dependable, hardworking, and experienced Restaurant Maintenance Technician to join our team!

Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken is locally owned and operated, and we are seeking a reliable individual to maintain and service all three of our Muskegon restaurant locations: Sherman, Apple, and Causeway.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform general building maintenance and repairs.
• Troubleshoot and repair commercial kitchen equipment, including fryers, refrigeration units, and other restaurant equipment.
• Perform basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical repairs.
• Maintain restaurant facilities, both inside and outside.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Respond promptly to maintenance issues to minimize restaurant downtime.
• Coordinate with outside contractors when necessary.

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems.
• Experience with commercial kitchen equipment is a plus.
• Ability to troubleshoot problems and work independently.
• Dependable, organized, and self-motivated.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to travel between all three locations.

Position Details:

• Hours: 30+ hours per week
• Location: All three Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken locations in Muskegon
• Pay: Competitive, based on experience
