Restaurant Manager

About the Role:
Our client is seeking an experienced and dynamic Restaurant Manager to lead the daily operations of a vibrant and high-end restaurant located in the heart of St. Julians. The ideal candidate will have a passion for hospitality, strong leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail to ensure an exceptional guest experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee day-to-day operations to ensure smooth and efficient service across all departments.

• Manage, schedule, and supervise staff, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance reviews.

• Monitor food quality, presentation, and customer satisfaction, upholding the highest standards.

• Ensure full compliance with health, safety, and sanitation guidelines and local regulations.

• Address and resolve customer concerns and complaints with professionalism and care.

• Manage inventory levels, liaise with suppliers, and ensure timely ordering and deliveries.

• Track and control operational costs, implement budgeting strategies, and optimize profitability.

• Drive marketing initiatives and promotional campaigns in collaboration with management.

• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for both guests and employees.

• Foster seamless coordination between kitchen and front-of-house teams.

• Encourage a positive, motivated work environment, providing guidance and support to all team members.

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Restaurant Manager or in a similar leadership role in the hospitality sector.

• Strong understanding of restaurant operations, customer service, and team management.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

• Knowledge of budgeting, cost control, and inventory management.

• Fluent in English; additional languages are considered a plus.

• Flexible schedule, including availability on evenings, weekends, and holidays.
