Due' Cucina Italiana is looking for a Restaurant Manager to join our Capitol Hill team! The restaurant is located at 412 Broadway E, Seattle, WA 98102.

The Restaurant Manager leads the front and back of house teams and maintains high standards of restaurant cleanliness, food quality, and facility management.

In this role, the Restaurant Manager will:
Directly supervise the restaurant employees
Interview and make hiring decisions
Manage operations in the front and back of house with a high concentration on profitability, safety, sanitation, and sales growth.
Monitor and make appropriate adjustments to staffing levels, inventory levels, and food cost control
Ensure proper execution of and compliance with Company policies and procedures on assigned shifts.
Anticipate and identify problems and initiate appropriate corrective action.
Provide proper training through established systems and follow through to ensure compliance with Company Standards.
Create a positive working environment by fostering teamwork through effective training, communication and relationship building
Create and adjust daily schedule for shift personnel to ensure optimal efficiency
Reinforce customer service mentality. Respond to guest complaints, immediately and respectfully.
Manage equipment maintenance and ensure that all tools work correctly and safely
Requirements
Experience: Prior experience as restaurant assistant manager, general manager, supervisor, shift lead, crew lead, team lead is highly desirable. 2 years’ experience in a high volume restaurant environment required.

Possess a Food Handler’s card
Possess an Alcohol Server Training Permit
Possess a Certified Food Protection Manager Certification (can obtain after hire, course fees paid by Due Cucina)
Ability to stand continuously throughout an 8-hour shift
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
Comfortable bending, reaching and moving quickly
Ability to work evenings and weekends
Ability to work on a flexible schedule and fill in shifts when needed
