Restaurant Manager

SUMMARY

This position is responsible for the daily operations of the Front of the House staff and services at Cumberland Trail Golf Club in Pataskala, OH, including, but not limited to restaurants, golf, weddings, and all other catering events and outings. The Restaurant Manager is to be professional and possess exceptional service skills with experience as a server.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Serve and tend bar.
• Interview and make recommendation for hiring servers and bartenders.
• Onboard new hires on first day of work.
• Schedule and supervise other servers and bartenders.
• Establish and/or Recommend policy improvements to Owner for approval.
• Train for correct facility procedures, safety codes, proper use of POS system, and menu items.
• Assist team members in closing duties including cleaning all work areas and equipment, restocking and completing daily checklists.
• Maintain and order replacements for dining/bar supplies, liquor, wine, soda, etc.
• Obtain event quotes and supervise the event process from start to finish.
• Event communication with golf pro shop and manager.
• Assist team in setup and breakdown of events.
• Consistently offer professional, friendly, and engaging service.
• Display superior oral communication skills and ability to communicate effectively with both customers and colleagues at all levels of seniority.
• All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS REQUIRED

• Tenured experience in a Leadership Role in the Food Service or Hospitality Industries.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to oversee and manage special events and staff.
• Can remain productive when pulled in many different directions.
