About the role

As a Retail Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our store, ensuring exceptional customer service, managing staff, controlling inventory, and maximizing profitability. You will create a positive and engaging environment for both customers and employees, while also maintaining brand standards and upholding food safety regulations.

What you'll do

• Operations Management:
• • Oversee all aspects of store operations, including opening and closing procedures, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring equipment is in working order.
  • Develop and implement efficient workflows to streamline operations and maximize productivity.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving supplies to meet customer demand while minimizing waste.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including proper food handling and sanitation procedures.
• Customer Service:
• • Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers, resolving any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
  • Train staff on customer service best practices, including product knowledge and upselling techniques.
  • Solicit and respond to customer feedback to improve the overall customer experience.
• Staff Management:
• • Recruit, hire, train, and schedule a team of employees, ensuring adequate staffing levels to meet business needs.
  • Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to staff to support their professional development and performance improvement.
  • Foster a positive and inclusive work environment that promotes teamwork, collaboration, and mutual respect.
• Financial Management:
• • Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve revenue targets and profitability goals.
  • Control expenses, such as labor and supplies, to optimize cost efficiency while maintaining quality standards.
  • Analyze financial reports to identify areas for improvement and inform decision-making.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to lift and carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in retail management, preferably in the food or hospitality industry.
• Strong leadership, communication and problem solving skills. 
• Solid understanding of financial principles and experience with budget management.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
• A passion for delivering exceptional customer service and achieving results.
