Restaurant Manager

Point 9, a new upscale casual restaurant and bar in Andover, KS, is looking for an energetic and relationship-driven Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house, bar, and general operations. This is a highly visible leadership role for someone who thrives on connecting with people, motivating teams, and driving results in a fast-paced, people-focused environment.

About the Role

The Restaurant Manager will report directly to the owner and will oversee the Front of House Lead, Bar Lead, and Lead Server. This role is dedicated to shaping the guest experience, ensuring service excellence, and fostering a collaborative team culture. While the Executive Chef leads the kitchen independently, your leadership will shine in the dining room, the bar, overall strategy, and every guest interaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and inspire staff to deliver memorable guest experiences.


• Quickly build rapport and strong, trusting relationships with staff, guests, and vendors—leveraging those connections to move the business forward.


• Communicate with enthusiasm and clarity—sharing information openly, energizing the team, and adapting your style to engage different personalities.


• Promote teamwork, openness, and positivity, modeling a “people first” culture.


• Proactively identify opportunities for improvement, challenge the status quo, and implement changes that enhance service, efficiency, and profitability.


• Set and achieve ambitious goals, maintaining a strong sense of urgency, accountability, and attention to detail.


• Oversee scheduling, staffing levels, and training to ensure consistency and high standards.


• Partner closely with ownership to align on guest service, bar programming, and the broader hospitality vision.


• Monitor guest feedback and resolve issues with care, empathy, and a personal touch.
