Job Description - Restaurant Manager

Ondus on the Waterfront, located inside the AC Hotel by Marriott in beautiful Vancouver, Washington, is seeking a Restaurant Manager to lead our restaurant operations and help create memorable dining experiences for our guests and locals alike.

The Role


The Restaurant Manager oversees the daily operations of Ondus on the Waterfront, ensuring exceptional guest service, strong team performance, and smooth, efficient operations. You’ll lead by example on the floor, support and develop your team, and partner closely with hotel leadership to drive results.


 


Key Responsibilities



  • Lead, coach, and manage the performance of all restaurant team members

  • Foster a positive, engaged, and service-oriented team culture

  • Ensure high standards of food quality, service, cleanliness, and safety

  • Implement and maintain health, safety, and sanitation standards

  • Monitor inventory, manage ordering, and control food and labor costs

  • Collaborate with culinary, hotel, and leadership teams

  • Address guest feedback proactively and professionally


 


What We’re Looking For



  • Previous restaurant management experience (hotel or upscale casual preferred)

  • Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

  • A passion for hospitality and creating great guest experiences

  • Ability to lead in a fast-paced, service-driven environment

  • Experience with scheduling, inventory, and cost controls

  • Hands-on, solutions-oriented mindset
