Restaurant Runner / Busser

Heirloom Restaurant & Lounge is currently seeking a Runner / Busser to provide genuine hospitality and the highest quality of service to our guests. The ideal candidate can create an engaging environment, providing courteous, responsive, guest-centered service. The Runner / Busser cleans tables and the restaurant area and services guests with food and beverages.

Responsibilities

• Runs food and beverages to tables.
• Busses tables.
• Expedites order tickets.
• Stocks the restaurant.
• Resets tables.
• Polishes silver and glass ware.
• Cleans designated area.
• Cleans kitchen line area.
• Pours water for guests.
• Participates in on-going education.
• Answers phones.
• Greets guests.
• Runs room service orders.

Fundamentals

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
• Open Table experience is preferred, but not required.
• Comprehensive knowledge of menu.
• Well organized.
• Works well in a team environment.
• Flexibility to work any shift including evenings, weekends and holidays. 
• Excellent verbal and written interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency in English required.  A second language is desirable.
• Ability to grasp, lift and or carry, or otherwise, move goods weighing a maximum of 40 lbs.
