PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

This position requires regular attendance, the ability to work 40 hours per week, and the ability to stand or walk for hours at a time.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School Diploma or High School equivalency preferred. Proven restaurant serving or waitering experience preferred – but not required for consideration. Will be required to submit to E-Verify screening and pass a background check as required by Homeland Security and/or MSE Branded Foods as a condition of employment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Maintain a gracious, pleasant, and friendly attitude while contributing to a teamwork-based environment.

• Be customer service oriented and detail oriented.

• Demonstrate ability to comprehend and follow both written and oral instructions.

• Adhere to the company dress and appearance policy.

• Prepare restaurant tables with special attention to sanitation and order.

• Present restaurant menus and help customers select food/beverages.

• Answer questions or make recommendations for complementary products.

• Collaborate with other restaurant servers and kitchen/bar staff.

• Deal with complaints or problems with a positive attitude.

• Issue bills and accept payment.

• Responsible for set-up, cleanliness, and organization of the work area beginning, during, and at the end of each shift.

• Position requires slip-resistant shoes.

JOB SUMMARY:

We are looking for a competent Restaurant Server to take and deliver orders. You’ll be the face of our restaurant and responsible for our customers’ experience. The position will work with the Back of House Team Members who are responsible for preparing all food orders.
