Isla Bella Beach Resort, a luxury oceanfront resort in the Florida Keys, is seeking an experienced and service-driven Restaurant Supervisor to support operations at Sushi Cabana.
This role provides hands-on leadership on the floor, ensuring exceptional guest service, smooth restaurant operations, and a positive, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced setting, leads by example, and is passionate about delivering memorable dining experiences.
Responsibilities
Operations & Guest Service
Support daily restaurant operations to ensure a smooth and efficient guest experience
Greet and assist guests, manage seating flow, and support host stand operations
Monitor dining room activity and maintain high levels of guest engagement and satisfaction
Respond to guest requests and resolve concerns promptly and professionally
“Touch tables” regularly to ensure service quality and gather guest feedback
Assist with expediting food service and ensure proper timing of courses
Be present on the floor during peak service periods and support the team as needed
Team Leadership & Communication
Lead by example and support team members during service
Assist with training, coaching, and motivating front-of-house team members
Participate in daily pre-shift meetings, reviewing:
Service priorities and operational updates
Specials, menu knowledge, and promotions
Guest feedback and service standards
Communicate effectively with management regarding service or operational challenges
Foster a positive, collaborative, and guest-focused team environment
Sanitation & Compliance
Ensure compliance with food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining and service areas
Support and monitor adherence to company policies, including:
Time and attendance
Uniform and grooming standards
Workplace conduct and safety policies
Administrative & Operational Support
Assist with inventory organization and requisitioning of supplies
Support updates to POS systems including pricing, specials, and menu changes
Assist with in-room dining coordination as needed
Ensure proper care and organization of restaurant equipment and supplies
Qualifications
Previous experience in a restaurant, bar, or resort dining environment
Prior supervisory or leadership experience preferred
Strong guest service and communication skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong problem-solving and organizational skills
Ability to lead by example and support team members during service
Flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
