Job Summary: Peterson's Restaurant is seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurateur to lead and oversee the operations of our renowned restaurant. As the Restaurateur, you will be responsible for maintaining our high standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction while driving profitability and growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement business strategies to drive profitability and achieve growth goals
- Ensure the highest level of quality in all aspects of the restaurant, including food, service, and atmosphere
- Hire, train, and manage a team of talented and dedicated staff, including chefs, servers, and bartenders
- Create and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors to ensure the availability of high-quality ingredients and supplies
- Monitor and manage all operational costs, including labor, inventory, and equipment maintenance
- Oversee the development and execution of innovative menus to keep our offerings fresh and appealing to customers
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure a high level of satisfaction and loyalty
- Plan and oversee special events, promotions, and marketing initiatives to attract new customers and retain existing ones
- Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, as well as local laws and regulations
- Monitor and analyze sales and financial data to make informed decisions and implement necessary changes to improve profitability
- Continuously seek out opportunities for growth and expansion, whether through new locations or business ventures
- Set and maintain standards of excellence in all aspects of the restaurant, including cleanliness, décor, and customer service
- Foster a positive and supportive work environment to motivate and retain staff
- Stay current with industry trends and best practices to ensure the restaurant remains competitive and relevant
- Act as the face of Peterson's Restaurant and maintain a strong presence in the local community
Qualifications:
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role in the restaurant industry
- Proven track record of successfully managing all aspects of a restaurant, including financial management, customer service, and staff development
- In-depth understanding of food and beverage industry trends, best practices, and regulations
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking skills
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment and make timely decisions
- Passion for food, hospitality, and providing exceptional customer experiences
- Bachelor's degree in business management, hospitality, or a related field (preferred)
- ServSafe certification (preferred)
