Job Description - Restoration Content Technician

Rytech Restoration of the Midlands is currently looking for a Content Technician Assistant! If you have a successful attitude with a “get it done right” mentality, a desire for a career that helps others, plus work with a growing company dedicated to restoring damaged homes and businesses, then look no further. You will be an essential part of the moving and logistics process, ensuring that items are safely packed and transported to their destination. This role requires physical strength, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently as part of a team.

Job Duties:

This is a general contents department labor position which is a support position with training and for the needs of the department. The primary duties within the division involve all tasks associated with the packout of contents, their safe transport from the damaged property to contents factory for processing storage and return to the customer's property. The skills associated with this position are to grow over time and every task is to be mastered in time with training and experience. Each promotion will involve more responsibility. Basic skills and tasks listed here are core to any and all positions within the company.

Ability to lift and carry heavy objects

*with limited to some experience with packing/moving heavy items, loading, and unloading small to large items off of vehicles and into facilities/homes

Training & Growth:

You will be provided training by working with fellow teammates, internal and external training events, and cross training. As a selected team member you are expected to grow over time with increasing productivity and support for each team member. Training subjects include:

Item categorization

How to box, wrap, pad wrap furniture

Truck loading for safety

Use of common chemistries

Safety: on and off site

Supplies and creating modules

Documentation

Communication skills

Customer service

Interpersonal skills with staff

40 hours paid time off after 6 months employment. An additional 40 hours paid time off after 1 year. Job Type:

Full-time with on-call.

We provide 24-hour emergency service, some night and weekend work is required.

Compensation: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
