Restoration/Mitigation Technician

Key Responsibilities

• - Communicate with property owners to assess damages and explain the restoration process.
• - Perform controlled removal of materials (drywall, cabinets, flooring, etc.) as needed.
• - Set up and monitor drying equipment using industry best practices.
• - Take and record moisture readings; making adjustments as needed to achieve drying     standards.
• - Document job progress with photos, notes, and readings in company database.
• - Monitor jobs daily and maintain clear communication with homeowners during the process.
• - Rotate on-call shifts (including nights/weekends) for emergency response services.

Additional Duties

• - Assist customers by guiding them through the insurance claims process when necessary.
• - Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor at all times.

Skills & Qualifications

• - 1+ years of water mitigation, mold remediation, or fire restoration experience required.
• - IICRC certifications (WRT, ASD, AMRT, FSRT) strongly preferred.
• - Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• - Positive, solution-oriented attitude.
• - Ability to work independently and within a team environment.
• - Comfortable using computers, tablets, and smartphones for documentation.
• - Valid driver’s license required.
• - High school diploma or equivalent required.
• - Must pass a background check and drug test; clean driving record required.
