Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:
The Retail Associate is responsible for carrying out the front-line selling effort, driving sales revenue, creating the ultimate shopping experience for our customers, and maintaining retail standards through back-of-house operations. Retail Associates will drive optimum sales results through effective communication and a demonstrated ability to work as a member of a winning team.

The Retail Associate will be expected to work a part-time flexible schedule which can include days, nights, and weekends.

GENERAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Assist customers with finding merchandising and purchasing products in the store.
•Greets customers and ask questions to help make their shopping experience an enjoyable one.
•Makes product recommendations based on observations and conversations with customers.
•Helps to execute a brand connection by ensuring customers enjoy a top-notch shopping experience.
•Upsells and cross-sells products to customers.
•Maintains sales floor and/or stockroom standards with an eye to detail.
•Ensures all products are hung up, displayed, and organized neatly for a well merchandised aesthetically pleasing sales floor.
•Processes sales transactions via the (POS) System.
•Maintains the highest standards of professionalism and customer service to ensure the Mitchell & Ness Brand (Fanatics Brand) and All Team/League are always positively represented.
•Performs additional responsibilities as directed by the management team.

EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
•High School graduate or general education degree (GED) or equivalent combination of education and experience.

KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND ABILITIES:

LEVELS:
Basic skills with a moderate level of proficiency. Works under close supervision without latitude for independent judgment. Consults with senior peers and team leads on non-complex issues to learn through experience. Typically requires zero (0) to two (2) or more years of related experience.
