Job Description - Retail General Manager

We’re a fast-growing specialty retail business with three busy locations around Charleston—and we’re confidentially seeking an experienced and results driven Retail General Manager to join the team and help us take things to the next level.

This is a hands-on leadership role where you’ll be managing the day-to-day across all stores, building strong teams, and making sure our customers always come first. You’ll work closely with the President and CEO, playing a big part in shaping the future of our business as we keep on growing.

What you’ll be doing:

Leading and supporting Store Managers and retail teams at all locations

Driving sales and profitability through smart planning and execution

Making sure the customer experience, merchandising, and brand looks great everywhere

Analyzing performance and creating plans to hit (and beat) key metrics and goals

Hiring, training, and managing store-level teams

Overseeing inventory, budgets, and making sure everything runs smoothly

Someone who sets high standards—and helps others meet them

A data-driven decision maker who also "gets people"

Someone who can think big picture while staying grounded in the day-to-day Ops

A pro at balancing great customer experiences with smooth seamless operations based on SOP's

Someone who can bring structure and process to a growing business

And finally… someone with a good sense of humor with an approachable vibe!

Qualifications:

5+ years of retail leadership experience, ideally in specialty or lifestyle retail

Proven success in multi-store management

Strong interpersonal and team leadership skills

Data-driven mindset with strong business acumen
