Qualifications:

• Direct customer service and lending experience preferred
• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong computer and Microsoft product skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Must have ability to become NMLS registered

Function: Assists customers by discussing loan products, handing out appropriate applications and disclosures, completing loan applications and other loan related documents. Participates in retail lending projects and may assist with training.  

Essential job functions / responsibilities:

• Meets with retail loan customers, provides product information, explains underwriting requirements and guides them through the loan process. 
• Obtains credit reports, title checks and other research information. Facilitates the loan process by seeking advice and/or approvals from Management as needed.
• Utilizes Bank LOS to complete appropriate loan worksheets including borrower data, transaction details, processing instructions, automated underwriting submission as applicable, underwriting comments and calculation of debt-to-income ratios.
• Prepares packages for closing including review for accuracy and completion of any additional forms necessary for closing; schedules loan closings, coordinating with loan services, and close loans in absence of lender; disburses loans and packages for delivery to Loan Services and Loan Document Imaging; 
• Manage an assigned portfolio of retail loans. 
• Performs other duties as requested.
