RETAIL MARKETING SPECIALIST

Reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager, the Retail Marketing Specialist will be responsible for supporting marketing execution at the local level through retail stores. The primary focus will be supporting the local marketing efforts of the store fleet.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Support Local Marketing Initiatives: Collaborate with store managers to execute local marketing initiatives, including promotions, events, and community outreach programs.
• Manage Marketing Materials Requests: Coordinate with store teams to fulfill requests, ensuring that collateral is available in-store as needed.
• Track Shipments: Monitor and track shipments of marketing materials, ensuring timely delivery to stores.
• Test New Visual Merchandising Concepts: Assist in the development and implementation of new visual merchandising concepts, conducting tests to measure effectiveness and gather feedback.
• Own Local Area Email Program: Responsible for reviewing and approving all monthly store emails, providing feedback for improvement to managers as necessary.
• Support Organic Social: Work with Digital Marketing Manager to help support content planning, post scheduling, and other digital community engagement needs.
• Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with cross-functional teams including marketing, retail ops, product, and warehouse to ensure alignment and support for retail marketing initiatives.
• Provide Reporting and Analysis: Compile and analyze data related to retail marketing efforts, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
• Stay Up to Date with Industry Trends: Stay informed about retail marketing trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to inform strategy and execution.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think creatively and analytically, translating insights into actionable strategies.
• Proficient in using marketing tools and software.
• Willingness to travel within the region as needed.
• Strong project management skills; able to deliver consistently high-quality results, on time, and within budget.
• Highly collaborative, with the ability to work in partnership with all levels of the organization.
