Retail Merchandiser - Commission Base (Texarkana, TX)

L&R is the largest distributor and the 6th largest purchaser of cosmetics in the United States. We now distribute over 40,000 items (cosmetics, toys, school supplies, hosiery, hair accessories, OTC, HBA, and more) through 3 regional warehouse locations in Arkansas, New Jersey, and Nevada. 

We are looking for exciting Full-Time Representatives to service retail stores such as but not limited to Albertson, Safeway, and Kroger in various locations within the West, Central, and East Coast Regions.

Retail Merchandiser – Ordering & Merchandising

Full time: 40 hours 

Store Locations: TEXARKANA, TX | DAINGERFIELD, TX | DEKALB. TX | MARSHALL, TX | JEFFERSON, TX | WASKOM, TX | MT. PLEASANT, TX

Payrate: Commission Based - $600 weekly with 4% commission

Retail Merchandiser Essential Job Functions:

• Service assigned store routes, collaborating with the L&R District Manager (DM).
• Use company-supplied tablet and scanner to place inventory orders.
• Follow store visit process, including delivering merchandise, completing tasks, and maintaining stock levels.
• Stay updated on sales, promotions, and policies through iNet
• Familiarity with planograms and department footage for sales and inventory control.

Other Retail Merchandiser Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Maintain professional communication with Store Management and Associates during each visit. 
• Verify merchandise shipments and communicate with store personnel.
• Clean and organize display cases and shelves.
• Conduct store surveys and audits, addressing store issues.
• Perform physical work, including lifting 15-40lbs.
• Flexibility to service additional stores as needed.

Retail Merchandiser Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or G.E.D; previous merchandising or retail experience a plus
• Must have a valid driver’s license with proof of Car Insurance
• Your own personal vehicle since you’ll be driving to and from stores
• Computer or smartphone with internet connection
• Excellent customer service and verbal communication skills
