Education, Experience, and Requirements:

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a dealership or auto parts retail store is preferred.
• Familiarity with mechanical and electrical parts is a plus.
• Strong customer service skills with excellent telephone and email etiquette.
• Basic computer proficiency for order processing and inventory management.
• Willingness to submit to a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
• Knowledge of RVs is helpful but not required; a passion for adventure is a must!

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Ability to efficiently analyze and fulfill customer requests using service manuals, databases, and reference materials.
• Exceptional communication skills, both in person and over the phone or email.

Requirements

Essential Functions:

Sales & Customer Engagement

• Actively assist customers with retail purchases, ensuring they have everything needed for their RV or marine adventures.
• Leverage your knowledge of parts and accessories to recommend upgrades and solutions tailored to customers’ needs.
• Build excitement about RVs and boating by showcasing the latest accessories and demonstrating their benefits.
• Provide hands-on assistance to help customers understand how to use their new RVs and accessories.
• Ensure a seamless and positive retail experience for all customers.

Parts Procurement & Support

• Analyze customer requests for parts, offering substitute parts or upgraded options when appropriate.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of parts locations, inventory, and basic installation techniques.
• Efficiently process parts orders, verify pricing, and enter accurate information into our computer system.
• Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely delivery of parts for repairs and maintenance.
• Follow up on backorders, keeping customers and team members informed of order statuses.

Relationship Building

• Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and service centers to ensure smooth communication and timely parts delivery.
• Act as a trusted advisor to customers, fostering loyalty and repeat business through excellent service.

Team Collaboration

• Partner with the sales and service teams to identify opportunities for cross-selling and upselling.
• Participate in training to stay updated on the latest RV and marine products, ensuring you’re always ready to assist customers.
