Retail Production Supervisor

Thrift World is seeking dedicated employees to join our team. As a Retail Production Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in our store's success by helping to sort, process, and prepare donations for sale to our customers.

Pay $20.00 per hour

Full time. Monday through Friday 7:00 am-3:30 pm

As a Retail Production Supervisor your responsibilities will include:

Provide direction and oversight to team members working in the production area.
Communicate regularly operating targets and progress against standards and expectations.
Have the ability to hire, select, teach, train, develop, coach and counsel employees as
needed.
Have the ability to motivate the team regularly and ensure efficient operations by
troubleshooting bottlenecks and working side by side with team members through the
processes.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following.

• Ability to handle the physical requirements of sitting, walking, bending, squatting, climbing and
twisting on an intermittent or continuous basis with weights up to 30 pounds
• Utilize staffing deployment of employees to efficiently to achieve production standards.
• Develops staff by recognizing talent, engaging employees, orienting new hires, and training to
company policy and procedures
• Rotate and cross train employees in order that they may be able to do several production role
functions.
• Monitors performance daily and weekly against quotas
• High energy level, strong leadership skills, multi-tasker
• Ensures a clean and organized work environment
• Teach, train and coach team members to standard
• Ensure all merchandise is priced according to standards
• Oversight and quality control is maintained for items going to both sales floor and export
