About the Position:

This position is for a detail-oriented and data-driven Entry-Level Retail Sales Analyst. The Retail Sales Analyst will be responsible for pulling and analyzing sales data for key categories across several merchandise departments, ad hoc reporting, and presentations. This is a great opportunity for recent graduates or early-career professionals who are passionate about data and retail.

Must have experience with:

• Analyzing and defining what’s working and what’s not


• Deep dives by brand, sub-category, and any other necessary attributes


• Productivity by sales, margin, and space


• DSS, Scintilla, Retail Link, or similar analytical tools and applications

Key Skill Emphasis: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel

Excel will be your primary tool for analyzing and presenting data. To succeed in this role, you

must be comfortable with:

• Pivot Tables for summarizing large data sets


• VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and INDEX-MATCH for data integration


• Data Visualization using charts, conditional formatting, and sparklines


• Advanced Formulas for calculations and trend analysis

Skills Required

• Bachelor’s Degree or related experience


• Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, charts, macros, VLOOKUP, formulas, conditional formatting, etc.)


• Proficient PowerPoint skills


• Analytical thinking


• Collaboration


• Manage workload and deadlines with minimum supervision


• Excellent communication and organizational skills
