Job Description - Retail Sales Associate

Job Summary:
We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for customer service and a knack for sales, helping to create an engaging shopping experience for our customers. As a Retail Sales Associate, you will be responsible for promoting our products, assisting customers with their purchases, and maintain the overall appearance of the store.

Duties:

Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their needs.
Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately for cash handling and sales processing.
Maintain knowledge of current promotions, sales, and product offerings to enhance customer engagement.
Train new staff members as needed, fostering a collaborative team environment.
Ensure the store is clean, organized, and visually appealing at all times.
Handle customer complaints or issues professionally and efficiently to ensure satisfaction.

Requirements:

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
Strong sales skills with a proven ability to meet or exceed targets.
Basic math skills are essential for handling transactions accurately.
Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures is necessary.
Excellent communication skills with an emphasis on customer interaction.
Ability to work flexible day shift hours, and weekends as needed.
A positive attitude and willingness to learn about products and services offered in-store.
