Retail Sales Associate

This is more than a retail job. You'll help local residents and businesses with shipping, packaging, printing, mailbox services, and business solutions while developing valuable customer service and sales skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service to walk-in customers and telephone inquiries


• Assist customers with shipping, packaging, printing, mailbox, and business service needs


• Recommend products and services that best meet customer needs


• Accurately process customer transactions using our point-of-sale systems


• Operate computers, copiers, printers, laminators, and other office equipment


• Maintain a clean, organized, and professional store appearance


• Perform notary services for customers (if licensed)


• Support team members and contribute to a positive workplace culture

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required


• Previous retail, customer service, hospitality, banking, or sales experience preferred


• Strong communication and interpersonal skills


• Comfortable working with computers and learning new software


• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment


• Strong attention to detail and accuracy


• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds


• Reliable transportation and excellent attendance

Preferred Qualifications

• Current NYS Notary Public License


• Experience with Microsoft Office and Adobe software


• Shipping, printing, or small business service experience
