Carolinas Staffing is looking for a Retail Sales Clerk in Surf City, NC!
We’re seeking a reliable, customer-focused Retail Sales clerk to join our team! If you enjoy working in a fun, laid-back beachside retail environment, this is the job for you.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist customers with purchases, ensuring an exceptional shopping experience.
- Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain a clean, organized store and restocked merchandise as needed.
- Sell a variety of items, including beachwear, sarcastic humor, and politically-themed merchandise.
- Provide excellent customer service with a positive and professional attitude.
- Be trained to become a keyholder
Requirements
- Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings (until around 10 PM on some days), weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to work 40+ hours per week.
- Previous experience with cash register operations is preferred (experience at Walmart, Circle K, or similar is a plus).
- Friendly and approachable demeanor with the ability to engage with a wide range of customers.
- Comfortable selling all store merchandise, including themed items.
- Must be able to work on Holidays
Seasonal Hours (40+ hours) 8:00am – 10:00pm. Hours will fluctuate as the year goes on. Around Winter the store will close 5 or 6pm.
Employees must be available to work six days per week, including weekends and holidays, as scheduled.
